Eastern Grandeur, Elevated
Transforming a developer layout into a layered retreat: this timeless vacation home is a careful choreography of materials and architectural features. A tandem of Asian and Middle Eastern motifs creates warmth throughout. Custom millwork became our canvas - each panel custom-designed to capture light differently as the day unfolds. In the master suite, solid walnut panels reveal a morning bar crafted from cloud-grey stone quarried in the Apuan Alps. Bronze details create depth that emerges as you move through spaces. For a family that loves hosting at scale, we designed transitions between spaces that feel natural and are thoughtfully integrated into the interior.

Our team developed fully custom shop drawings and coordinated fabrication in wood, glass, and leather to create a multifunctional TV feature that serves as the visual anchor of the room. The slatted panels glide open to reveal integrated media storage, seamlessly blending technology with warm architectural detailing.

We designed a bent bronze-alloy panel to transform an otherwise unused space into a sculptural niche. The floating console is crafted from Pietra Gray marble, chosen for its deep charcoal veining and refined contrast against the warm metal. Vertical custom wood panels frame the composition, creating a quiet moment of architectural depth and material richness.

Handmade wood-framed panels with tensed organic textile line the hallway.

We designed a fully integrated headboard wall system with custom wood-veneer paneling and a recessed acoustic fabric panel for sound absorption and visual depth. All electrical rough-ins—including reading lights, outlets, and pendant drops—were precisely coordinated within the millwork grid. The pendant fixtures were aligned to structural blocking above, ensuring exact symmetry with the bedside tables.
